Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 40 Hours a Week Pay rate: £12.60 per hour Location: East Anglia covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence is a must, flexible working, good communication skills, cleaning experience is necessary but further training will be provided JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Mobile Cleaning Operative REPORTING TO: Area Supervisor / Technical Service Manager KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Customers, Supervisors, Technical Service Manager & site visitors Key Elements of the Role Service Delivery To plan and priorities own work and complete allocated work schedules in a timely and consistent manner To perform sanitisation and valeting services for telecommunications equipment, IT equipment, ATM machines to the required standard. To carry out periodic & reactive cleaning on client premises i.e. kitchen deep cleaning, washroom and toilet deep cleaning, carpet & upholstery cleaning, hard floor cleaning and maintenance, pressure jetting service. To provide cover for holidays and sickness on a variety of shift and missed cleans to include days, nights and weekends if required. Any other ‘ad hoc' duties as required by the needs of the business and client. Respond to all helpdesk tasks and emergency call outs within agreed KPI's. To maintain high standards of appearance wearing Mitie branded uniform. Health & Safety Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety awareness and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and hazards. To ensure PPE is always utilized correctly. Ensure all equipment in your care is well looked after and ensure that PAT test of machinery is up to date. To report any problems, incidents, accidents or near misses to Supervisor as appropriate. Hazards and risks are assessed prior to work commencing. Follow all company van driver policies. Client Management Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives, understanding their needs and expectations, and ensuring that task deliverables meet or exceed their requirements. Client's complaints and concerns are investigated and rectified swiftly. Action is recorded. Training Comply with standing instructions in accordance with issued Field Guide and Job Description Communication. To attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills. Admin Ensure prompt and efficient paperwork and timesheets are submitted every end of each week. Maintain accurate work schedule documentation, including records of work activities, site reports, and provide regular updates and reports to area supervisor as required. Documents that affect the quality of work are controlled and filed for easy reference. Company Vehicle Report is submitted every end of each month. Travel and Flexibility: Be willing and able to travel to remote site locations as required, sometimes for extended periods, and demonstrate flexibility in working hours and arrangements to accommodate work & task requirements and deadlines. Budget and Resource Management: Monitor resource allocations, ensuring that expenditures are managed effectively, and job allocations are delivered within agreed financial parameters.
