We are looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse to support the delivery of essential Mental Health support, assessment, and treatment throughout our Residential and Nursing Homes in the city. You will use all your skills and knowledge within this diverse post to support patient experience, wellbeing, recovery, rehabilitation, and End of Life.

Main Duties of the Job
To meet the needs of patients and their families to achieve improved health outcomes and promote health and wellbeing while demonstrating care, compassion, competence, communication, courage, and commitment. Care is based on comprehensive assessment, ensures continuity, and is patient/client-centered, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based, promoting independence.
1. Provide Mental Health support to the MDT, supporting staff to have a greater understanding of patient needs.
2. Supervise junior members of staff and students on placements.
3. Develop and maintain a culture of service improvement which promotes quality and safety and strives to do better.
This is in line with the requirements set out in the NMC code which require all registered nurses to:

4. Promote professionalism and trust.

Qualifications
Essential:
* BSc Nursing RMN currently registered with NMC.
Desirable:
* Post registration, specialist training relevant to speciality.
* Teaching Qualification, e.g. ENB 998 or equivalent.
* Practice assessor/supervisor.
