Dunfermline Relief Support Worker
£12.00 per hour
The Ark service in Dunfermline supports 12 people with learning disabilities and autism. The support we offer differs from person to person which means being a support worker offers lots of variety. Some people are supported to live independently in their own homes while others stay with their families. Everyone is supported to say what they want their support to be like and what they’d like to achieve. This can vary from support to cook meals, go swimming, take medication, do arts and crafts, go to visit their friends or go on holiday.
Shifts are varied and can be from 3 – 16 hours over 7 days a week. Dunfermline has great public transport links so being able to drive is not essential to work with us.
' T he best thing about working at Dunfermline service is that is has a great community feel. All the supported people all enjoy spending time together and regularly meet up for meals and activities. The team are really welcoming and the supported people are great fun (and have an amazing sense of humour) .' – Sean Montgomery – Care and Support Manager
