Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.
The Infrastructure Protection Team is accountable for managing the interface between TfL assets and operations and the construction related activities of our neighbours. Our purpose is to mitigate the risks to our assets and operations, while helping London to develop.
This is a hybrid role with aspects of Infrastructure Protection work and commercial/financial administration support.
The role will typically involve:
* Preparation of Statement of Costs for Outside Party and Streetworks jobs
* Keeping register of SAP job numbers and supporting new job number creation
* Raising purchase orders, keeping track of run rates and bad debts
* Preparing IP business unit reports
* Reviewing Planning Application and Enquiries and responding to queries and applications
On the job training will be provided to support your development in this role.
Skills
* Good presentation skills including oral, written and the use of visualisation.
* Good analytical skills including a high level of numeracy.
* Ability to correctly assess risk to our infrastructure and long-term interests from various third-party activities.
* Ability to work as part of a team, happy to adapt to a changing delivery environment.
Knowledge
* Essential: Excel Advanced user adept at running and developing macros.
* Working knowledge of SAP Ariba system and in particular SAP reporting and all aspects of purchase orders.
* Awareness of Town & Country Planning Act and Freedom of Information Act and how to respond to Planning Notices or FOI enquiries.
* Awareness of the TfL system, TfL Engineering, its structures and how they function.
Experience
* Experience of building relationships with and influencing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience providing engineering/other input to boundary, maintenance, or ownership agreements or planning enquiries.
