Job summary We have a rare opportunity for an Office Manager to join our team at The Robert Darbishire Practice (RDP), which is one of 3 practices operated by Better Health MCR. RDP's main site is in Rusholme Health Centre and there is a branch at The University of Manchester, in Crawford House on Booth Street East. RDP is one of the largest GP practices in Greater Manchester and as Office Manager you will play a pivotal role in its day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the service received by our patients reflects our core values of care and curiosity to deliver high standards of customer service. Main duties of the job The Office Manager is the senior non-clinical manager for the practice (including the University branch). You'd be responsible for keeping things running smoothly, ensuring your team are well-trained and well-organised, with good team spirit and high morale. You would have immediate management responsibity for the Reception Team Leader, the Local Admin Team Leader and the Clinical Rota Co-ordinator. In total the practice non-clinical team is about 25 people. You would work in partnership with the practice Clinical Lead and other senior managers to ensure the delivery of an organised and efficient service that follows our policies to meet the demands and needs of our patients. As well as looking after your team you would also be responsible, liaising with other partners where appropriate (such as the landlord and IT helpdesks), for making sure that facilities and equipment are of a high standard, to provide a good working environment that supports colleagues to do their jobs efficiently.
