As a member of the Global Leadership Team and Executive committee you will contribute to wider business endeavours and global business objective attainment. The role will directly manage HR central services, L&D and talent acquisition, with a dotted line to HR regions and be responsible for the following:
* Delivering clarity of roles and responsibilities aligned to our global operating model, ensuring regional empowerment and central support
* Ownership of HR operations ensuring correct systems (HRIS) and processes are fit for purpose and utilised
* Ownership of compensation and benefits programmes
* Ensuring the effective development of leadership and people management across the business so that employees are recruited, inducted, cared for, appropriately managed, effectively deployed, retained and developed professionally
* Leading strategic talent management, enhancing our employer brand and ability to retain talent through development
* Partnership with global leadership team in delivering people agenda. Close direct support of General Management and Functional Heads ensuring their unique workforce and goals can be attained
* Playing a key role in the leadership and support of business change programmes
* Management of external relationship, legal, business systems, payroll
You must have proven success as a People Director or Senior HR position preferable in a manufacturing and/or service business circa £100-150m sized company, with experience of supporting multiple manufacturing sites across different global locations. You will have operated at strategic board level and have a strong and proven track record for delivering results. Global experience is desirable as you will be working with territories including China, Japan, USA, KOSEAI, Europe and LATAM. As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and driving our Global People Strategy. This role will be crucial in aligning our people initiatives with the overall business operating model and wider strategic priorities, ensuring success, growth, and continuous improvement through our most valuable asset-our people. The business currently has 700 employees, manufactures product in Scotland and China while selling and servicing product in over 120 countries worldwide.
