Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Development
Lead and manage the successful delivery of the Off-Grid Cabin project, ensuring milestones are met and budgets are adhered to.
Coordinate and manage other overnight stay development projects, including camping, glamping and Motorhome initiatives, across the Forestry England estate.
Work collaboratively with internal teams, external developers, contractors, and partners to drive the success of each project.
Lead on scoping, planning, and managing the execution of site developments, from initial concept to completion, ensuring alignment with Forestry England’s strategic goals and sustainability standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including district teams, external partners, contractors, and third-party operators.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, ensuring smooth coordination and that all parties are informed of project progress.
Represent Forestry England in discussions with external agencies and at industry events as needed.
Operational & Performance Management
Develop, implement, and track project-related KPIs to measure progress and success.
Oversee procurement processes for project-related goods and services, ensuring compliance with Forestry England’s standards and procedures.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring all projects are completed with the safety and well-being of visitors and staff in mind.
Strategic Growth & Innovation
Contribute to the strategic planning and growth of Forestry England’s overnight stay offerings, including glamping and camping products.
Identify new opportunities and innovative solutions to enhance the overnight stay experience and increase commercial viability.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Provide support and mentorship to team members and other stakeholders involved in development projects.
Assist in the delivery of Forestry England’s long-term strategy, collaborating with the Camping Development Programme Lead to ensure alignment across all projects.
