What you'll be doing? The Customer Care team ensures home buyers receive the best care following their home buying experience. You’ll be in a customer-facing role ensuring homes meet the highest standard, requiring ideal construction or building experience, and a passion for quality and professionalism. Reporting to the Head of Customer Care or Customer Care Office Manager, support managing customer-related issues through to resolution, coordinating the department's administration. Responsibilities Ensure personal and team compliance with SHE policies, prioritizing safety. Adhere to Barratt Redrow standard Customer Care policies, ensuring customer issues are resolved professionally and quickly. Handle all contacts (calls, emails, online, Social Media) professionally and courteously, recording issues in the IT system. Coordinate continual telephone cover within the department. Arrange inspections of remedial inquiries for valid warranty issues. Liaise with Site Management teams, Customer Care Technicians, and Sub-contractors for efficient remedial work completion. Communicate with the Head of Customer Care for defect resolution cost-effectively. Utilize the IT system for managing defect resolution and performance reporting. Order materials and complete contra-charges with the Commercial/Buying departments. Ensure customer inquiries are addressed professionally and efficiently. Provide administrative support, handle customer correspondence, manage electronic and paper filing, produce reports, and maintain Action Logs. Represent the department in internal meetings, promoting service delivery improvements. Conduct post-completion satisfaction calls to customers. Manage customer complaints and resolve legacy issues effectively. Ensure subcontractor and supplier adherence to company SLA, utilizing the Contra Charge Process. Update and distribute weekly reports to relevant personnel. Promote Group values, systems, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as required. What you'll need? Experience in a secretarial or administration role. Customer service experience in a demanding environment. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Intermediate to advanced MS Office proficiency. Strong team player attitude. Assertiveness and resilience in challenging situations. Self-discipline and excellent time management skills. Ability to multi-task and work accurately under pressure. Professional demeanor in all interactions.
