We are looking for flexible and motivated candidates to develop solutions for existing and future programmes, from initial concept scoping and project scoping through to delivery of prototype systems. The work is varied and blends elements of multiple engineering disciplines, providing a unique ability to take part in programme delivery from future concept evaluation, system architecture definition, prototype system development, and assisting in developing solutions for emergent technical issues What we are looking for from you: An experienced engineer with: Proven experience in developing complex systems, preferably in the defence industry Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to initiate and drive trade studies Experience of developing MBSE solutions with practical implementation Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to a variety of stakeholders Experience developing requirement sets, and an ability to work with different stakeholder groups including Design Authorities, Aircraft Authorities Familiarity with system architecture tools, including DOORS and Rhapsody is desirable A level of project engineering knowledge to be able to design and deliver work packages Knowledge of any of the following areas would be highly beneficial: aircraft airworthiness and certification; integration and trials; aircraft Stores Management Systems; environmental requirements; EMC; UK MOD acquisition process Interested?
