About This Opportunity:
Westmorland and Furness Council are pleased to be offering a number of PA roles to the Assistant Directors of the council. You will be joining a team of highly professional PAs, based from one of our anchor offices. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Assistant Directors in the council.
We have a number of exciting full-time opportunities available for experienced and proactive Personal Assistants, where you will be the first point of contact for the Assistant Directors and provide direct support to their directorate within Westmorland and Furness Council.
Who We Are Looking For:
* Handling and responding to all correspondence including emails and letters
* Scheduling appointments and organising diary entries
* Setting reminders for meetings, appointments and other important tasks
* Making travel and hotel arrangements
* Planning conferences, workshops, seminars and other events
* Taking notes at meetings, preparing the minutes and subsequently distributing to all participants
* Liaising with other members of staff and external parties
* Supporting other PA team colleagues
