We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Health Specialist nurse to join our OH Team at University Hospitals Dorset.
Main duties and role include:
* Working with the multi-disciplinary team to expertly deliver specialised knowledge and expertise.
* Managing complex cases with the support of the Occupational Health nurse manager and Occupational Health Consultant.
* Promoting a learning and open environment within the Occupational Health team to assist in the development and training of all staff.
* Working closely with many different departments throughout the people directorate, trust and wider ICB.
Base Location: Bournemouth and Poole Hospital sites and working remotely from home with occasional visits to private organisations.

Essential:
* Registered Adult Nurse, on part 1 of the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) register.
* Diploma/ Degree in Occupational Health.
Desirable:
* Teaching and Assessing Qualification
* Health & Safety training
Experience:
Essential:
* Extensive experience working in an occupational health service
* Writing accurate electronic records
* Planning and delivering training
* Undertaking complex case management
Desirable:
* Using an EOPAS database
* Working in an NHS (National Health Service) OH (Occupational Health) service
Language Requirement:
Essential:
* Able to speak English as necessary to undertake the role
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
