Purpose of the Role: In the role of Learning and Development Trainer, your main job is to deliver dynamic and effective training across Moss's retail network. You will collaborate with various teams to develop high-performing individuals, ensuring alignment with Moss's strategic vision and values. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand and product knowledge, making a significant impact on our team's success. Key Responsibilities: Champion outstanding in-store experiences, prioritising colleague needs, and facilitating their continuous development, both in-store and at the head office. Exhibit extensive product knowledge across all services (Hire, Tailor Me, Retail) and provide targeted development, understanding individual colleague requirements. Proactively support colleagues on the shop floor, guiding selling opportunities, and enhancing training experiences to elevate their skills. Ensure effective communication with Area Managers and People Partners post-visits, sharing crucial feedback and observations. Maintain a strong presence, leading by example, and promoting company standards, acting as a mentor and positive role model. Collaborate with the L&D Manager on new initiatives, embedding and evaluating them, and actively participating in the training and development of all colleagues. Foster a commercially focused approach, supporting colleagues in achieving sales and service targets and identifying opportunities for store performance enhancement. Prepare structured, focused store visits, collaborating with management to optimise support and impact. Lead the delivery of engaging and memorable training on the Moss brand, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols. Utilise a variety of methods to create impactful learning experiences, supporting the development of learners and producing high-quality learning materials. Regularly collaborate with the L&D Manager to identify and prioritise areas of focus, ensuring alignment with business goals. What You'll Need to Succeed: Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with designing and delivering engaging learning and development programs. Experience in conducting training needs analysis and developing tailored training solutions. Knowledge of various training methodologies and tools, including digital and interactive platforms. Understanding of retail operations and sales strategies, to provide relevant and impactful training. About You: Organisational skills and attention to detail, with adaptability and resilience in changing environments. Possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with an approachable style.
