Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring that all tasks detailed in your objectives are delivered on time.
2. Being pro-active around the reports. Markets and business can change quickly, so we must stay ahead of the game. If a report is no longer useful, it is discarded and replaced with something valuable to the business.
3. Our aim is to spend time adding insights rather than building reports by utilizing the RPA process and OAC.
4. Building your skillset to deliver OAC reports will be a priority.
5. Your Financial Business Partners will request certain reports based on a particular area of focus. The aim is to support them as these will be urgent requests, which can only be done by maintaining good control of regular activities.
6. Speed is very important in this role; if something is asked, it must be delivered quickly.
7. Working with the UK team closely for guidance and support, aided by regular communication through weekly meetings, participating in extended monthly meetings, and contributing to our MS Teams page.
8. Collaborating with the India team to support them and to seek assistance during periods of leave, facilitated by attending shared meetings.
9. Building relationships with the Amer team by joining their meetings and feeling part of their team.
What we need from you:
* Finance or business-related education, preferably working towards a professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Preferably, experience as a finance analyst, including experience with operational planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, management reporting, scenario analysis, and modelling skills, with a preference for leisure and hospitality or similar single unit, multi-revenue stream operations.
* Understanding of trading metrics and key drivers that impact operations revenue and cost.
* Advanced user of Oracle, Essbase, reporting tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to prioritize and operate effectively in a fast-moving, global environment with tight deadlines.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Critical thinking and the ability to connect and explain the linkage between drivers and outputs.
* Preferably, exposure to the culture and ways of working in the supported region(s).
