Role Overview:
The Head of Dynamics Business Applications Support will be responsible for leading and managing the support team, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of Dynamics CE/BC applications. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach to deliver exceptional service and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dynamics CE/BC.
As the Head of Dynamics Business Application Support, you'll be responsible for:
1. Lead and manage the Dynamics CE/BC support team, ensuring high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
2. Own the functional aspects of Dynamics CE/BC applications, providing expert guidance and support to the team.
3. Develop and implement support strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance service delivery.
4. Oversee the administration, maintenance, and support of Dynamics CE/BC applications.
5. Make small changes and enhancements to the system as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
6. Manage the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process, including planning, development, testing, and deployment of updates and changes.
7. Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated support issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
8. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
9. Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
10. Work closely with other departments, including IT, development, and business units, to ensure seamless integration and support of Dynamics CE/BC applications.
11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on support activities and system performance.
What sort of technical skills should this person have?
1. Proven experience in managing and supporting Dynamics CE/BC applications.
2. Strong technical skills, with the ability to make small changes and manage ALM processes.
3. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
4. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
