About the Role
Grundfos is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to cover North East London. Are you a customer-obsessed Engineer with strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering? Do you understand pumps and possess a customer-driven mindset? If yes, then this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
* Execute, repair, and maintain pumps for customers, working independently or in a team.
* Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace parts of pumps and pump systems.
* Advise customers on system shortcomings and provide solutions.
* Identify and address service and warranty matters.
* Prepare and submit clear and complete service reports on time.
* Register identified product quality issues in the systems.
* Assist in project execution including installation support and commissioning.
* Execute agreed maintenance services and SLA for service agreements.
* Provide relevant feedback to stakeholders.
* Prepare inputs for quoting out-of-warranty repairs.
* Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance service capability.
* Utilize service tools and equipment effectively.
* Exhibit health and safety awareness.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in the industry or a comparable environment, good knowledge of pump technology, and ideally a technical education in electrical/mechanical engineering. You will also need:
