If so please read on as we may have the role for you. As a Project Worker supporting young people you will be working for an established provider of housing support and resettlement within a service for young people aged 16-24.
The role:
* Permanent role covering a 37.5 hour week working on a rota basis including early, late and some weekend shifts
* Act as a Key worker to a case load of young people working in line with their support plans to help them engage in and promote their independent living skills
* Offer support and guidance which will help them access education, employment, and other services.
* Work proactively to engage them in activities, facilitating group and 1-1 sessions.
The ideal candidate:
* You will be passionate about wanting to support young people and have the flexibility to commit to shifts on a rota basis.
* Your energy, creativity, and positive 'can do' attitude will be key, as will your ability to work confidently with the young people to help them create their own confidence.
* You will have experience of working with young people and those with a mental health issue, or learning disability and autism, and have an understanding of those who may have experienced trauma.
* This role is ideal for those who want to be part of a great team and share your skills and knowledge.
