Purpose of Role
Our client are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Marketplace Manager to join their E-Commerce team at their Head Office in Huddersfield. They are home to multiple brands across mens, womens, kids, apparel, footwear and accessories.
This role gives a great opportunity to the right candidate to help shape the growth of brands such as Ellesse, Nautica and Reebok across multiple Marketplaces.
Reporting directly into the Head of Merchandising you will work to drive the sales on all platforms including Amazon, Ebay, Zalando, ASOS and other partner marketplaces. Experience of Amazon and Zalando is essential.

Requirements
Develop and implement strategic plans across each of our brands to plug into the right marketplace
Analyse market trends, consumer preferences, and competitors to identify growth opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and marketing, to ensure a cohesive and market-relevant product assortment
Lead the development and execution of promotional events and markdown strategies
Utilise data analytics and performance metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
Essential Experience and Skills
Previous experience of working on Amazon and Zalando marketplace is essential
Very Strong analytic background with the ability to analyse the data and use the data to drive actions within the team
Currently operating at Executive or Co-Ordinator level looking for the next step on the ladder
Leadership skills to lead a team and engage/influence multiple stakeholders at all levels of the business
Experience within a start-up culture helping to establish the Marketplace function with a start-up mentality and approach, able to think operationally and strategically
Highly competent with Excel, able to manipulate data to produce insightful analysis and summaries
Commercially aware and the ability to relate business needs and requirements in a compelling and understandable way
An excellent communicator to instigate and maintain excellent working relationships with suppliers, third parties and business stakeholders
