PR Manager – Arts / Not for Profit sector 12 month Maternity Contract Salary up to £42,000 Near Brighton 4 days office based 1 from home Excellent holiday benefits, plus more Working as part of an integrated marketing and communications team, this PR role will lead planning development and execution of Press and PR campaigns. The goal is to generate impactful media coverage that aligns with their strategy, audience and commercial objectives. You will guide 2 PR Executives to ensure effective execution of media campaigns and collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving overall results for the communications team. Key responsibilities include:- Lead the strategic design and delivery of Press and PR campaigns that effectively highlight their brand and support audience development, sales growth, and overall strategic goals. Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to create comprehensive media plans, with clear objectives, timelines, and success metrics. Partner with the Director of Audiences to devise and implement a robust crisis communications strategy, ensuring readiness and responsiveness for any emerging situations. Cultivate and expand their network of relationships with a diverse range of media contacts, including mainstream, specialist, national, and international outlets, as well as key digital influencers. Manage and strengthen relationships with established media partners, identifying areas for growth and joint initiatives that could extend their media footprint. Oversee the daily running of a highly responsive, service-focused press office, ensuring all media enquiries are handled in a time-sensitive manner, with professionalism and attention to detail. What you will need for this PR Manager job:- Proven experience in a PR Manager role developing and implementing press and PR campaigns across multiple channels, preferably within the arts & culture sector. Excellent knowledge of the media landscape, preferably with a strong network of media contacts relevant to in the arts or not for profit b2c sectors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including copywriting. Experience and knowledge of campaign evaluation methods. Experience in managing a small PR team.
