Ob Advertisement: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Food Industry Experience
Location: bedfordshire
Shift Pattern: Double Days (Monday - Friday) + 1 week on-call every 2 months
Salary: £50,900 per annum
We are seeking a talented Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias and ideally experience within the food industry to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to the smooth running of our production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment.
Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to ensure machinery reliability and uptime.
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
Attend to machinery breakdowns and proactively work to prevent reoccurring issues.
Participate in a 1-week on-call rota every 2 months to support maintenance outside of regular hours.Ideal Candidate:
Electrical bias with relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance (food industry experience preferred but not essential).
Proven experience in fault-finding, repair, and preventative maintenance on production machinery.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work double day shifts and be flexible for the on-call rota.Benefits:
