Apply now for the position of Manufacturing Engineer at Llanberis, and you will provide site wide engineering support for escalated engineering issues and play a lead role in driving equipment improvement programmes and initiatives.
Your Role:
1. You provide Engineering support for all escalated technical issues related to manufacturing plant, equipment and process so to ensure a high level of utilisation.
2. You participate in equipment improvement programmes and process improvement initiatives.
3. You support maintenance and any 3rd parties in PLC modification or trouble shooting activities.
4. You provide support in identifying effective preventative action and root cause for equipment failures and resulting deviations and ensure that open Quality records and CAPA are closed within the agreed site KPI targets.
5. You raise Engineering related change controls as required and manage changes in an effective and timely manner.
6. You introduce or modify process equipment, including generation of associated documentation. This could include procurement/vendor selection, design review/DQ, testing/FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning and validation.
Your Expertise:
7. You will ideally have a HNC or HND in an Engineering discipline (Several years of experience in a similar role will also be considered).
8. You will have to ability to perform root cause investigations and trouble shooting techniques.
9. You will have an understanding of process equipment, specification, procurement, design review, test, install, commission and validation.
10. You will bring experience working in a highly regulated industry (cGmp) or manufacturing environment.
11. Ability to lead projects - both new process equipment and modification of existing.
12. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with peers, leadership teams, and vendors.
13. Knowledge of Lean and Six-Sigma is desirable.
