The role of Apprentice Hire Desk Administrator:
We have a new opportunity for the right candidate to join our JP Rentals Team within our Paisley Depot. Working under the supervision of the Depot Manager, you will gain the skills, experience, and knowledge required to achieve a Modern Apprenticeship SCQF Level 6 Business & Administration. The successful candidate will receive on-job training, support, and guidance from our experienced team members while adding valuable administrative support to day-to-day operations of the Depot. Throughout this 12-month apprenticeship, the Company will monitor your on-the-job and theoretical work on a regular basis and be committed to supporting and coaching your progression.
The key learning/job task areas for our new apprentice will include:
* Gain the skills and knowledge to confidently handle customer queries efficiently.
* Become competent in prioritising customer communications and escalating when necessary.
* Develop product knowledge of our Rentals Fleet and accessories to convert enquiries into profitable hires.
* Provide support to our Rentals Team through our collection and delivery process and movement of our fleet.
* Learn to build and maintain customer relationships and resolve issues with hires.
* Learn and ensure adherence to hire and off-hire processes.
* Understand and comply with health and safety requirements and safety legislation.
* Manage and maintain electronic and manual records, including filing and archiving.
* Complete all tasks allocated by the Depot Manager.
