Who are we?
Essex Professional Coaching is an independent multisport coaching company established in 2017 to provide high quality provision for schools and individuals. Together, our team delivers sporting activities in a range of settings that positively impacts and engages thousands of children in physical activity on a weekly basis.
We are looking to recruit passionate and caring sports coaches, to play a starring role in our vision of creating a healthier, more active Essex by inspiring and educating all through PE, Sport & Physical Activity.

Key roles/responsibilities in the position:
* Plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, engaging PE lessons & extra curricular sports clubs in a primary school setting
* Support & upskill primary school teachers and apprentice coaches within the company to develop confidence and competence in delivering PE
* Deliver fun and engaging childcare provision and activities at our holiday camps in the school holidays
* Report on pupil progress and development in PE through termly monitoring and assessment
Skills, Experience & Qualifications required for the position
The successful applicant will:
* Have experience of delivering physical education in a primary school setting, with knowledge of the national curriculum
* Hold an NGB level 2 coaching qualification
* Have access to their own transport, and be prepared to travel up to 30 miles from our office base
* Ideally possess one of the following: Sport related honours degree in physical education or coaching or Level 3 diploma in supporting the Delivery of Physical Education in Primary Schools

Interview Stages
After shortlisting has taken place, we adopt a 3 stage interview process:
1. Telephone Interview - To go through the role and get to know you in more detail
2. Practical Delivery - If successful in stage 1 you will then be required to plan and deliver a session at one of our partner schools/camps based on a lesson objective provided by our team
3. Formal Interview - The final stage is an in person formal interview to discuss your suitability for the role
