Description
This is currently an internal only opportunity.
Diversity matters
We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. It’s what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.
We see you, we celebrate you, we want you!
Who we are
You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but there’s more to this great-smelling, partly employee-owned, family-run company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good.
The Living Wage Foundation’s statement 'a hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay' is one that we are proud to commit to in the UK. As an accredited Living Wage employer, we put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it is what’s inside that counts - whether that’s an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.
Please note: We may close this vacancy early if we receive an overwhelming response or our business requirements change.
The role
Unit 1 is a regenerative building ever evolving through shared ideas, development, creativity, growth, knowledge and free thinking. Now a firmly established area of the business, we provide a practical, versatile, functioning, responsible and engaging environment for innovation and progress.
Our teams are challenged with delivering some of Lush’s most creative and maverick ideas. From developing new products to 3D/Print & Packaging innovation, Process Improvement, Window concepts, Shop & Space planning and more. The demands and layout of our building are always changing, reactive and buzzing with projects.
With over 17 teams, and more than 4,000 square metres of space, our bustling hub of activity requires the support of a conscientious and dedicated Warehouse & Building caretaker.
Our ‘tenants’ work to deliver initiatives and projects that will drive sales, brand awareness and growth for every entity of the business. And it’s your job to ensure we’re providing a safe, flexible and dynamic space for the innovation to thrive.
You’ll manage the effective despatch and delivery of goods into the building, and facilitate the organisation of space and standards throughout Unit 1.
The evolution and constant development of our space and processes enable us to stay ahead of the curve, adapt quickly and be ready to support the creative chaos.
