The post holder will perform a wide range of tasks to support the Equipment Library & Decontamination Unit Supervisor, this will include special responsibility, under managed supervision, to support and assist the activities of the Equipment Library & Decontamination Unit issuing/collecting a portfolio of medical equipment to/from professional users. Activities will include the support, care and provision of tissue viability equipment, decontamination of returned equipment prior to re-issue, liaising with front-line clinical staff and various other technical staff. Maintain the cleanliness of all equipment used in the decontamination process.
