We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical engineer to join the Edinburgh office of this global multi-disciplinary consultancy, with a focus on a more sustainable future.
You will to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in the UK and internationally. Working across a variety of sectors including Government, Critical Systems, Healthcare, Rail, Workplace and Residential, you will work in a team of expert engineers and technicians, and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects for high profile public and private clients.
You'll have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and with accredited professional development programmes.
The Skills needed
* Educated to degree level in Building Services Engineering, and having gained substantial experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context (Ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems, and knowledge of design of public health systems etc)
* Have an extensive portfolio of experience demonstrating your familiarity with high quality engineering solutions and a client-focused approach.
* Experience in defence would be highly beneficial.
* Excellent communication and project management skills are essential.
