A Building Services SME are on the lookout for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to work across a portfolio of commercial sites in the Bristol area. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering planned and reactive maintenance services to ensure our clients’ buildings are operating at peak performance. You will represent the company on-site, liaise with clients, and take ownership of assigned tasks while upholding health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, AHUs, boilers, pumps, lighting, and power distribution. Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring minimum disruption to operations. Carry out inspections, servicing, and testing of mechanical and electrical systems. Conduct general building fabric maintenance, including minor plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs. Ensure all works are completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner. Maintain accurate service records and complete detailed reports for all work undertaken. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and site contacts. Requirements: Proven experience as a mobile maintenance engineer or in a similar M&E role. Recognized qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering, such as NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred). Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, AHUs, pumps, boilers, electrical installations, and general building services. Full UK driving license (essential)
