Mizrahi Kroub LLP is seeking an attorney to join its Employment Litigation practice. The attorney will be responsible for managing a full caseload, from intake through resolution. The role will provide immense litigation experience, as you will be working under a team of lawyers.
Job Role/Duties:
* Handle all phases of assigned caseload through resolution
* Draft demand letters, complaints, and motions
* Vigorous representation of clients throughout the litigation process
* Attend court hearings and conferences
* Prepare and respond to discovery and appear at depositions
* Participate in settlement efforts, including through mediation and settlement conferences
Qualifications:
* Admitted to the NY State Bar
* 3-8 years of experience litigating cases under the following statutes:
o Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
o The New York State Human Rights Law
o The New York City Human Rights Law
o Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
o New York Labor Law (NYLL)
