The Role: Redgate is looking for an Events Coordinator, who’s enthusiastic about supporting the team with multiple events, and who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’ll work with the Events team to successfully deliver our events program for both sponsored third party and hosted events. Reporting into the Events Marketing Manager, you’ll be involved in the end-to-end execution of our events program. You’ll also be travelling to some of our events, to lead the booth crew onsite. We operate from a flexible hybrid model, that supports a healthy work-life balance. For this role, we’re looking for candidates who live close to our Cambridge office. What makes you the next Events Coordinator: Have Experience in coordinating hosted and sponsored events Experience of coordinating an international events and conferences calendar as part of a team, as well as independently Be able to Brief and lead crews at events, ensuring that attendees are engaged with as per Redgate’s event experience standards, and the crew are motivated to achieve the event KPIs. Showcase detailed Pre- and post-event attendee administration using event management software, including Excel, Marketo, SalesForce and Monday.com Be a proactive team player with good social skills who can build networks internally and externally. A problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet, react rapidly to situations, prioritise your workload and implement measures to improve procedures and workflow Support the research, negotiation and booking of venues for Redgate hosted events/lunches/dinners and coordinate with venues in advance providing necessary information to ensure the event goes well on the day Coordinate event agendas for hosted events to ensure that the topics and speakers are right for the attendees we’re looking to attract. Work closely with and support other members of the team to ensure the successful delivery of events from start to finish. What would help?
