Construction Delivery Manager - Mechanical
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and suitably qualified Construction Delivery Manager to join our Technical Communities based in the South West of England.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with tactical logistics planning, detailed planning and implementation, and collaboration with the HPC Delivery Team and Senior Construction Delivery Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Support contract partners in delivery of works packages to enable efficient delivery of their sections of works.
* Recommend temporary measures to mitigate against safety and/or quality concerns and take appropriate action.
* Monitor works on site and input into the construction daily report to ensure information is reported up through the organisation.
* Proactively communicate/co-ordinate with other site teams to maintain good communication links and ensure activity is well and timely reported.
* Attend PLOD/PLOW meetings with the contractor and ensure outputs are recorded and issued.
Requirements
* Experience and knowledge of construction sequencing, recovery plans and resource allocation.
* Good understanding of CDM Regulations.
* Working knowledge in the delivery of projects.
* Possess excellent organisation and communication skills.
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction management, or equivalent vocational training and experience.
* SMSTS or IOSH qualification holder.

Salary: £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Due to the nature of the work, candidates will be required to undergo a Basic Security clearance (BPSS) and must have Independent Right to Work in the UK.
