This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing technical support for various software applications, assisting end users with technical issues, and helping maintain and improve IT systems. You will work closely with our experienced IT team, learning and developing important skills required in this role. What youll do: Triage all application engagement requests allocating these to the appropriate product teams for resolution Resolve application support tickets for assigned application service, escalating complex issues. Capture end user requirements and work with product owners to recommend technical solutions. Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure timely and effective resolution of user issues. Help monitor application performance, identify issues, raise appropriate risks and assist in implementing resolutions or improvements to the service. Analyse application software subscriptions, performing regular access reviews to ensure our systems are data are secure and compliant with relevant standards and legislation such as GDPR & ISO27001 Assist in development of application roadmaps and implementation of projects, taking part in key software development Lifecyle activities including design, testing and implantation tasks. Monitor and analyse system performance and capacity and provide recommendations for improving theapplication service. Maintain application support policies and procedures to ensure adherence to ITIL standards Support user adoption in the delivery of product knowledge and training sessions to application user groups. Communication is vital; you will need to be an effective communicator both in writing and verbally Ideal if the candidate has a basic understanding of IT systems, software applications, and troubleshooting methods. The Requirements: Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade 4 or higher (or equivalent qualification). This must include Maths, English and a Science or IT based subject BTEC/A-Level or equivalent in IT related subject (desirable) Must be eligible to work in the UK Must be over the age of 18 by January 2025 Programme Specifics: This apprenticeship is typically 24 months in duration Starting salary of £18,000 which will increase throughout the duration of the programme The qualification you gain will be a Level 4 Application Support Lead Our chosen training provider will support you in obtaining your qualification You will work in an Agile model from both our office environmentand remotely from home. You may also be required to visits client sites on occasions.
