Main duties of the job
The role is pivotal in leading and co-ordinating a high quality, safe, effective, and efficient service to meet the needs of the service user population, across the prison establishment. You will support the Senior Nurse/Head of Healthcare in the delivery of prison health care to ensure that service users receive high quality, evidence-based health services, which are the same range and quality as those provided by the NHS within the wider community. Prioritising health problems and intervening appropriately to assist patients in emergency, complex, or urgent situations, including commencement of emergency care. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
