About the Job: To provide software and hardware maintenance for all devices and peripherals included within the IT Infrastructure. To act as a member of a team covering WMC main sites to support and maintain the IT infrastructure including college phone systems. To take the lead for outreach support covering IT support particularly at the remote sites. To provide support to staff in the configuration of mobile technologies (i.e. iPads, iPods, Android devices and other electronic tablets) To ensure high consistency across all sites, and to contribute to the team SAR. About You Have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, with relevant Microsoft hardware support qualifications (MCDST, MCP or equivalent) or being prepared to work to such a qualification. Hold a relevant qualification or have proven experience relating to the understanding of computer networks. Have worked in a team environment, but capable of working individually and taking sole responsibility for projects. Be familiar with the operation and maintenance of a modern personal computer system.
