QHSE Coordinator Location: Leicester Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week (Early finish on Fridays) About the Company: Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Leicester, is seeking a dedicated QHSE Coordinator to join their team. This role has a strong focus on Quality, but an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) practices will be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) standards. Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance across all QHSE functions. Monitor, review, and report on QHSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Provide training and support to staff on QHSE procedures and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with different departments, particularly production and engineering, to ensure that QHSE policies are embedded throughout the organisation. Maintain records and ensure documentation is up-to-date and in line with industry best practices. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a QHSE Coordinator or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards, with working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 being highly desirable. Good understanding of Quality principles, with a focus on improving processes and systems. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to influence and drive change. Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations is advantageous.
