Our client has recently been named as one of the fastest growing companies in their industry. Operating from their 2 manufacturing sites quality and customer satisfaction are at the forefront of everything they do. Following on from an extensive investment into new systems they are now looking to recruit a Purchasing and Stock Assistant to work as part of the Operations team.
THE ROLE:
As the Purchasing and Stock Assistant, you'll be responsible for the purchasing and stock inventory using the bespoke ERP system, in line with business demands. You will be responsible for liaising with and developing strong relationships with suppliers in order to maintain the integrity of the supply chain. You will be responsible for maintaining adequate levels of stock whilst ensuring the business isn't over stocked. You will liaise with other departments and be the point of contact for any purchasing/stock queries.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and be organised with a methodical approach. You will have the ability to use your own initiative and be proactive in your work. Strong communication skills are required at all levels to work with key stakeholders and maintain relationships with suppliers.
