The Criminal Fines Collection and Enforcement (Enforcement) department plays a central role in delivering justice by working alongside the Criminal Courts in England and Wales to ensure convicted parties comply with fines and other financial penalties imposed by the Courts.
Key Responsibilities:
you will be managing a team of 15 staff between two team leaders
Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team, allocating workloads and ensuring performance standards are met. Use Lean TIBs, SOPs, and continuous improvement tools to drive efficiency.
Customer Service: Oversee team interactions with stakeholders, ensuring excellent service and resolving escalated issues promptly.
Performance Management: Monitor and report on team performance, ensuring targets are met and identifying areas for improvement. deal with any HR issues that arise
Process Improvement: Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Administrative Support: Ensure accurate data entry, document management, and reporting in compliance with relevant policies.Essential Skills & Criteria:
Leadership: Experience leading a team, with strong motivational and organisational skills.
Customer Service: Proven background in customer-focused administrative roles, with excellent communication skills.
IT Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new systems.
Process Improvement: Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
Administrative Skills: Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.Personal Attributes:
Motivated and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong team player with a focus on delivering results and continuous improvement.
Professional and trustworthy, especially when handling sensitive information.Working Conditions:
Full-time position with standard office hours Monday-Friday 9-5
