RG consultancy are working with a growing wholesaler based in Swinton who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop as there are future progression opportunities available.
Duties include:
1. General ledger reconciliations
2. Accruals & pre-payments
3. Monthly preparation and reconciliation
4. Fixed Assets and depreciation
5. Monthly and annual review
6. Assist with management account preparation
7. Set up new supplier accounts in various currencies
8. Sales analysis and investigation
9. Forecasting - monthly forecasting of sales, cost of sales and cash flow
10. Budgeting - annual review, reconciliation and investigation of sales, cost of sales and cash flow
11. Production costing and stock valuations
12. Daily posting of all payments in GBP/USD/EUR
13. Production variance investigation
14. Liaise with all parties both internal staff and external contacts at all levels, to resolve all aspects of the job
15. Ensure closure of General Ledger within four working days of month end
