We are looking for a friendly and approachable Emergency Client Care Advisor to join our committed, supportive and friendly front of house team.
The Role of a Client Care Advisor
As a Client Care Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing them with a warm and professional welcome. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice, supporting both the veterinary team and our clients. You will handle a lot of emergency cases; therefore it is important to remain calm and composed, assess the urgency of the situation and prioritise tasks accordingly. You will be required to communicate effectively with both veterinary staff and pet owners.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating immediate attention for critical cases.
* Managing the flow of clients.
* Serve as the primary contact for referring veterinarians, partner practices, and pet owners to schedule appointments.
* Greet clients and their pets warmly and professionally.
* Gather and manage animal medical histories, ensuring electronic and physical records are accurate and up to date.
* Handle service fees, process payments, and issue invoices or receipts.
* Provide support to team members as required.

About Pride
Scarsdale Veterinary Group is a leading veterinary provider in the Midlands, based in Derby. We are committed to delivering exceptional veterinary care for pets, horses, and farm animals, with a focus on outstanding customer service and high-quality care. Our largest practice, Pride Veterinary Centre, is a 24/7 hospital offering both first opinion and referral care across multiple disciplines. We also operate additional veterinary practices in Derby, Nottingham, and Burton upon Trent, along with a dedicated farm and equine practice.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time role working 38 hours over 4 days per week. The days will cover a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm including a 30-minute lunch break.
