Location 10 mile radius of Chippenham
Hours Up to 12 hours per week
Payrate Starting rate of £13 per hour
Holiday 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time)
Driving Licence Essential and access to own vehicle
DBS Check Yes will be funded by the employer
About the role:
We are looking for a vibrant, patient, caring person to support a 21 year old man with learning disabilities to access the community.
The role will include trips to the local park, swimming, local bus trips (including help with reading a bus timetable, route planning, and other elements of travel training), shopping (small purchases to enhance money recognition), train spotting trips, assisting with learning road safety, and helping with the continued learning of other community based life skills.
Must be willing to travel within a 10 mile radius of Chippenham. Clean driving licence and access to own transport is essential. Self-employed applicants are welcome to apply. Appointment is subject to a DBS check, funded by the employer.
Anticipated hours 12 per week, but we can be flexible with number of hours, times, and duties for the right candidate.
