We are currently recruiting for a Leisure Club Assistant at Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Fawsley Hall Hotel is located within Northamptonshire and offers our guest a luxurious stay, the hotel boasts 4 AA Red Stars and a 2 AA Rosette restaurant. For rest and relaxation Fawsley Hall is host to one of the Midland’s best destination spas and state-of-the-art wellness and health club facilities. Its formal gardens and parkland were sculpted by the renowned architect Capability Brown in the 1760s. About the Role The role of our Leisure Club Assistant is to welcome and engage with our members and guests, delivering exceptional customer service through greeting them on arrival, answering phone calls, responding to emails and booking them in for treatments & classes. Demonstrate knowledge of the hotel, health club & spa and treatments on offer and provide thoughtful recommendations, tailored to each guest to help create magical memories. You will take pride in the appearance of our Health Club & Spa and will be responsible for the cleaning of the pool area, steam, sauna, changing facilities and toilets. Mindfulness and well-being is your top priority, so you will be passionate about maintaining high standards and delivering memorable guest experiences to ensure that all clients leave feeling on top of the world and with a clear mind. Build and maintain relationships within the team and ensure communication is clear between the shifts. Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team. About you: Be passionate about going above and beyond for our members and guests and recognise and skilfully act on opportunities to make the guest experience memorable through offering or suggesting appropriate products and facilities. Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to be able to anticipate our guests needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience. Most of all, you’ll have a friendly, welcoming and genuine manner. You’ll take pride in your appearance and the standards and ambiance of our Health Club & Spa. Previous health club or spa reception experience is desirable, but not essential, if you have a reception background and with an understanding of a spa environment then you may be considered for the role. If you have an interest in fitness and have any fitness instructor qualifications, this would be a bonus. You will need to be confident in water as our Leisure Club assistants also act as our pool responders and first aiders. Pool testing training will be provided for this role. This is a Part-Time role offered on a 20 hours per week contract, which may vary depending on business needs. Shift working is required for this role and candidates will need to be flexible in working earlies (6am-2.30pm) or lates (1.30pm-10.00pm).
