About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a a Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) Network Manager to join the Payment, Clearing and Settlement Office (PCSO). In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing due diligence, oversight, governance, and escalations of a complex and diverse cross-regional portfolio of Payment Systems, Central Counterparties (CCPs), Financial Market Utilities (FMUs), and Exchanges (collectively “FMIs”). In this role, you will: Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group Assist in the control and monitoring FMI risk framework - maintaining the provider database, FMI strategy and compliance with market regulations as well as driving the evaluation, selection, oversight, and maintenance of FMI relationships Accountable for contributing to the FMI Network Management due diligence and oversight Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process reviews. This includes assessment and incorporation of new and relevant criteria into the oversight process as the regulatory landscape evolves Implement on-going monitoring and governance requirements for FMI membership risks including service reviews, onsite due-diligence, and FMI questionnaires Participate in and contribute to internal governance and controls forums and provide updates to senior management across all areas of the firm Serve as an FMI subject matter expert to provide global, cross-LOB risk and governance advice and guidance on new and/or existing FMI engagements, covering a wide range of potential risks to support business decisions Participate in special projects and initiatives as required (e.g. regulatory requests / examinations, recovery, and resolution planning, etc.) Required Qualifications: Experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Financial Services, Risk Management, Legal, or Regulatory background Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex rules, regulations, and scenarios beneficial. Demonstrated ability to distill complex information and articulate outcomes and opinions to key stakeholders Experience in interacting with senior management and cross-functional, regional teams and business partners Detail orientated, with strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic and evolving environment Desired Qualifications: Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership of assignments Understanding of regulatory landscape, project management experience or provider relationships would be advantageous Project management experience, including leading projects that implement major product deliverables and enhancements Posting End Date: 13 Apr 2025 Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
