Teacher of Performing Arts Part time, fixed term We have a wonderful opportunity for an inspiring and dedicated teacher to join Backwell School as part of our Performing Arts department, specialising in Drama and Dance. This is a part-time (0.51 FTE) position from the 24 February 2025 fixed term contract for up to 12 months to cover Maternity leave. The vacant working pattern is Week 1: Monday & Wednesday, Week 2: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday however there could be flexibility for the right candidate. Our Performing Arts Curriculum Area encompasses Music, Dance and Drama teaching. The Drama department has great facilities, including a well-equipped theatre will full height stage, green room, lighting/directors box and a balcony. We also have a number of other drama spaces as well as a dedicated Dance Studio with sprung floor and a Theatre Technician.
