Salary: Leadership Pay Scale Points 3-5 (£52,301 - £54,936 per annum)

We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our ambitious and highly collaborative Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Principal in our outstanding school. The successful candidate will be an inspirational, proactive individual who will lead on Key Stage 2 of the school, with a focus on curriculum and teaching & learning. The main responsibility of this role will be:
1. Reporting to the Principal, the Assistant Principal will work as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to support the achievement of the Academy vision and goals.

The ideal candidate will have:
4. An appropriate degree and other qualifications required for the award of QTS
5. Qualified Teacher Status
6. A very strong track record of impact and high performance, ideally against whole school priorities
7. Experience of effective middle leadership
8. Strong classroom teacher and primary experience
9. Good stakeholder engagement and management experience, including pupils, parents/carers and staff
10. Experience leading, motivating and supporting staff to achieve high standards
11. The statutory requirements concerning Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, SEND and Child Protection
