We are looking for a Senior Construction Supervisor to join our Building team in London on the flagship 105 Victoria project. This is a major commercial development with a strong focus on sustainability. Due to the size and complexity of this project, we’re looking for experienced, high-calibre Construction Supervisors.
What you'll do:
1. Effectively and professionally manage, monitor, and supervise the construction works at a central London commercial development including management of relevant subcontract package.
2. Manage the trade contractors including the production of works to drawings and specifications.
3. Provide regular written progress reports to monitor performance and highlight deficiencies at an early stage.
4. Understand the design process, and work with the design manager, within cost restraints, to facilitate the design, and coordination of production information, to suit site requirements and conditions.
5. Regularly inspect works for compliance with design and specifications, and ensure all design solutions offered by designers and sub-contractors fully comply with the project requirements.
6. Manage any construction students or trainees in the project team, including supervising, conducting appraisals, and assisting with development.
What you'll bring to the role:
1. Suitable experience as a Construction Manager on similar size and type projects for a tier 1 main contractor preferred.
2. Must be able to manage and oversee Sub Contractors to a value of £2 million.
3. Construction related qualification to HNC level.
4. Be in possession of a current Managers CSCS card and other relevant qualifications including SMSTS & First Aider Qualified.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
