Job description
About you:
1. As a Head of Product, People Division Medium Large Business, you will coordinate product management and be responsible for the strategic direction of the product.
2. You will be responsible for overall coordination of product activities for Medium to Large Business and integration with the wider Access Group products to ensure a cohesive, strategically focused approach.
3. You will develop the product strategy for the Medium to Large Business sector, liaising with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
4. You will hold overall responsibility for the various product roadmaps and lead the product team in an outward market and customer-facing approach whilst ensuring execution of roadmap ambition.
5. You will work closely with HR and Finance to facilitate Supply and Demand needs and capabilities to ensure we have appropriate resource needs clearly articulated, and with Finance to ensure close liaison on our costs and forecasts.
Day-to-day, you will:
1. Lead the MLB Product Management team including roles such as Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Launch Manager, and Business Analysts.
2. Lead as Product Manager for MLB, managing all required artifacts including business case, market positioning, competitor analysis, and product roadmap.
3. Review product status, and initiate product status monitoring and alignment planning to move products into a cohesive position in the overall Access portfolio.
4. Collaborate with key stakeholders and all other departments and divisions to communicate activity.
5. Participate and present at User Groups, roadshows, events, and other forums, acting as primary product evangelist for MLB.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
1. Strong knowledge of the HR & Payroll industry.
2. Experience in integrating & building products.
3. Experience in managing mature product portfolios.
4. Strong programme/project management skills and experience of change management.
5. Ability to perform effectively in multi-tasking fast-paced environments.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Self-managing and working virtually (with some requirement for in-person meetings/events).
8. Attention to detail.
9. Excellent team player who can work with virtual, global, and cross-functional teams.
10. Capacity to manage high-stress situations.
11. Experience of or demonstrable understanding of complex business to business operational processes.
12. Demonstrated self-starter with an ability to manage and motivate other team members.
13. Experience managing the strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market development of SaaS solutions is a strong plus.
14. Comfortable managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and running big strategic projects with challenging or short deadlines.
15. Proven professional experience in the technology industry.
16. Proven experience in Product roles including product launch.
17. Proven experience leading product teams and multiple stakeholders within multi-division and matrixed structures.
18. Experience in payments.
