MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary role of the Associate Project Manager is to support the CAT Project Managers to deliver client projects. This will include, but is not limited to:
* Supporting the Client Account Team (CAT) Project Managers as directed
* Scheduling, preparation and management of meetings and follow-up as required
* Sets-up projects in Salesforce and Cloudcoach and updates as requested.
* Supporting process improvements and Operational Excellence initiatives.
The Associate Project Manager will develop experience and skills to enable assignment as a CAT Project Manager to an increasing number of clients.
As a CAT Project Manager the Associate Project Manager will be accountable for:
* The time, scope, and budget of client projects
* Working with the CAT Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure that appropriate resources are assigned to deliver projects
* Managing and updating the Client Activity Log (CAL) to document the status of the projects for a client
* Looking out for opportunities to increase the client account (new projects or expansion of existing projects)
* Working with the CAT Account Manager (AM) to ensure that proposals for new client projects are scoped and costed appropriately
* Assisting the AM in tracking actions relating to business development with the client
* Managing the project schedule, budget, and scope
* Managing resources assigned to client projects (checking projected hours for the project team are correct)
* Managing risks, issues and changes for client projects
* Scheduling project meetings and documenting attendees, actions and decisions
* Assisting with project documents and filing
* Preparing reports on CAT and/or project activity status as required
KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES
* Life-science degree or similar
* New graduate or up to 2 years industry experience
* Project management qualification or experience an advantage but not required
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* High level of attention to detail
* Good problem-solving skills
* Good level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Flexible attitude towards working individually and as part of a team
