HR Manager

COREcruitment is working with a hotel company based in Bedfordshire who are looking for a HR Manager to join the Head Office team. This role involves overseeing HR operations across both properties, ensuring that our workforce is managed effectively and aligns with groups strategic goals for 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Oversight: Manage HR functions across both hotels, providing guidance on employee relations, people policy procedures, recruitment, and retention.
2. Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for all HR employment law matters, supporting and advising department heads to manage their teams according to company values and standards.
3. Payroll Management: Use the Access system to resolve payroll queries, ensuring accurate recording and payment of working time and absences.
4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with a part-time HR Manager and an external HR advisor to deliver comprehensive HR support.
Requirements:
5. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources Management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of building relationships.
7. A college or university qualification in Human Resources, Employment Law, or a related field.
8. CIPD qualification
9. Up-to-date knowledge of UK HR legislation.
10. Strong IT skills and experience with HR systems; familiarity with Access People is highly beneficial.
11. Experience in a fast-paced hotel environment is preferable, with an understanding of hotel operations and departmental roles.
