The Role - Trainee CAD Designer We are currently offering the opportunity for undergraduate students to join us for a valuable industry placement working within our Steels Department at our Head Office location in Colney Heath. Our 40 week Placement Programme offers great experience and structured development to students. You will be expected to contribute and have an impact from day one fulfilling “actual roles” within our operation, supported by relevant job-related training. Mentored by an experienced manager, you will have the opportunity to learn about the operations, work on specific projects that will support your learning goals and give you real exposure to CAD Design in Structural and Architectural Steel projects. You must be in your second year at university on an undergraduate course which enables you to take an Industrial Placement Year (unfortunately if you are graduated you are not eligible) Design discipline degree course with AutoCAD or 3D Cad Bias.
