Job Description
Rail electrical and harness experience is a must.
Build Line or Production Line Support Experience Is Essential.
Industrial Engineering Team Support:
1. Understand jig requirements from production and coordinate with tool suppliers to fulfill these requirements.
2. Assist IE with ANDON (production stopper) and Dave requests (WI updates, improvements, etc.).
3. Assist IE with investigating engineering changes and their effects on production, i.e., the vehicle build and the work instructions.
4. Coordinate with production to understand the sequence of installation steps and incorporate it into work instructions.
5. Bridge the gap between IE and production to ensure all production issues are investigated before communicating with IE, allowing for quick and reliable judgments.
Build Work Instructions Support:
1. Review existing manufacturing work instructions documents and add 'How to Do' steps if they are missing.
2. Create new work instructions to manufacture parts or assemblies of the product.
3. Ensure the ME work instructions cover all quality and safety standards of Rail and SMO UK.
4. Review and eliminate defects and errors within the existing work instructions for the part or subassembly of the product.
