Summary: We are looking for a Systems Verification Engineer Principal to join our Systems Delivery Team. This role involves automated testing, manual testing, documentation, DevOps activities, distributed network activities, virtual machine management, and Continuous Improvement/ Continuous Delivery management.

Job description: As a Systems Verification Engineer Principal, you will have a range of responsibilities including contributing to the Agile team's objectives, reporting daily activities, and taking on a variety of tasks such as building tools, infrastructure and processes, developing and maintaining continuous systems test suites, and preparing verification reports.
* Key responsibilities: Building tools, infrastructure and processes to enable development teams to continuously test their products, developing and maintaining continuous systems test suites, preparing verification reports and associated documents, supporting the production unit for automation infrastructure set up and execution, communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, taking a pro-active role in continuous improvement initiatives around verification, evaluating systems behaviour by executing automation test suites and image characteristics analysis, and owning and running a testing community of practice.
* Team management: You will have direct line management of one person and will be taking the lead on our overall verification strategy/activities.
Requirements: We are looking for a strong integration and test professional from a medical, automotive or defence/aerospace background with a minimum of 5 years' experience in programming (preferably Python but can be any other programming language), experience using and developing DevOps tools and techniques, familiarity with virtual machine management tools, hands-on experience with TDD/BDD based approaches, experience in CI/CD operation and management, hands-on experience using source control tools, experience with integration of one or more of Electronic/Optical/Mechanical Systems/Sub-systems, and leadership experience or natural next step.
