U-Educate is seeking a committed Behaviour Mentor to join one of our SEMH schools in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting our students' emotional well-being.
The successful candidate will support students with SEN and behavioural difficulties, helping them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one/ group support to students with behavioural challenges.
* Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans in collaboration with school staff.
* Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Build positive relationships with students and staff
* Monitor and record student progress and behaviour changes.
* Work closely with the school's SENCO to support students with additional needs.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working with secondary school-aged children in a behavioural support role (preferred but not essential)
* Enhanced DBS Certificate on update service
* Brilliant communication and collaborative skills
* Patient and empathic personality and ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
